Human Diorama

Human Diorama is a text re-presentation strategy that gives students the opportunity to create an exhibit of their knowledge of a text in an interesting and unique way.  Students can use a single picture or a series of pictures to represent their knowledge of the content.

Students work in collaborative groups to brainstorm scenes that they can display using themselves as characters or props in the scene.  Students then take pictures of the scene, and write a short caption describing what is being shown.  The pictures are displayed in a slideshow, where students have the option to present their dioramas to the class orally.

Process
  1. Develop your idea
  2. Take the photos
  3. Upload both the images to  this shared PicasaWeb Album.
