Turnitin.com not only checks student work for plagiarism and grammatical errors, it can be used for peer review. 

  1. Collect a first draft assignment.
  2. Create a "PeerMark" assignment that selects papers from the first draft.
  3. Choose due date, post date, and distribution settings, including a self-review option.
  4. Select scoring/review criteria using Turnitin's "Library" and/or create your own. 
    • choose from a variety of rating scales and free responses
    • students can also comment and mark errors in conventions 
  5. The program will automatically score PeerMarks when completed if you assign a point value.
  6. Read student reviews on teacher dashboard.
