Workshops & PD‎ > ‎Chromebook PD‎ > ‎

Next Steps...

Getting Ready
  1. Once the access points are installed, get your Chromebook Carts. Pick a home for it.
  2. Find 2-3 activities to use them with students in before the end of May. Come to the May PD day with the lessons that you learned.
Finding Support and Help
  1. Have a question or success story? Get ready to share it - in April we are launching our @GUHSDtech Google Plus Community.
  2. Student Google passwords are in eRoster (under the column called eBackpack).
  3. If something isn't working call 956-HELP, submit a MyTechDesk ticket, or contact your Site Tech Specialist.
If You Want Instructional Help
  1. Contact Dan at dmcdowell@guhsd.net. He will go out to sites to meet with teams, help develop lessons, observe, give moral support, etc.
  2. Post an idea on the @GUHSDtech Google Plus Community (coming soon!).
Advice
  1. Go outside your comfort level.
  2. Take a risk.
  3. Let your students help.
If You Need a Teacher Website
  1. Attend one of three Teacher Website Workshops (April 8 or May 22). Sign-up here.
  2. Go through the Building a Teacher Website Online Modules.
