In GUHSD we are using the SAMR model to gauge the use of technology by students. This model, while somewhat subjective, allows us to see the level at which students are using web-based tools to further their learning.
This model only really looks at the technology. Other items such as the 4Cs (Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, and Creativity), Blooms Taxonomy, and Depth of Knowledge should also be considered when judging the effectiveness of a lesson.
